  • Campaign UConn was successfully completed having raised a total of $471.1 million, exceeding its $300 million goal by 57 percent.
    • More than 115,000 friends of the University made 322,827 gifts during the Campaign; more than half were first-time donors.
    • A total of 415 new endowments to support students, faculty and programs were established during the Campaign.
  • FY 04 was the most successful year of fund-raising in the University’s history. In addition to the $146.1 million in-kind gift, the University raised $75 million.
  • In FY 04, the Annual Fund surpassed its $2.5 million goal.
  • Alumni giving participation rate was 24 percent.
  • At the close of FY 04, the total assets of the UConn Foundation reached $311 million, an increase of 18.7 percent over the prior year.
  • In August 2004, the University received a $10 million gift from Carole and Ray Neag to name the Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at the UConn Health Center.
